I didn’t even want to mess with the top seam because it would have made one side look funny or I would have ripped more seams. Plus the guy across the street got his car started so I had to wrap it up before he drove past.

Back to the tag. Right. I didn’t even want to deal with it after the side on top busted. SO NOW I KNOW there’s a line between a snug fit and busting seams. Not to mention the square was ruined to begin with, but it’s out there and better be on the start of a ghetto trail then turning a nice blanket into a ghetto blanket. I’ve got yarn morals too.

3 zipties.
I think I’ll stick to a needle or something quicker than this. Aside from the construction worker and the car that passed me I was pretty stealthy. Besides, tourist getup.

I need to plan ahead a little better, but that will come with experience. Today was my second run which involved not sleeping and hoofing it up to a gas station for batteries. When I finally got downtown I figured I had a good disguise by playing tourist, complete with wandering expression and camera on neck. I wasn’t ready to tag right on the main roads so I went a couple blocks into the neighborhood and decided on this pole. Now that I know what I’m doing, more important poles beware!

no I change my mind I like this one more.
Closer to the road anyways. And it’s my first pompom too.

A spur-of-the-moment idea came across my head to start doing this. After finding out my initial target was way too big I tried every pole in this alley until I found this one.

ch3 and turn.

Crochet is my expression, graffiti is my voice.

And I can't paint or stencil so I guess it's my only voice.

So begins my quest into Anchorage's street art scene.
